GÓMS + Akureyri Art Museum
GÓMS was priveleged enugh to receive a calling from the Akureyri Art Museum to create two murals for the "night of culture" in Akureyri, Iceland. The Museum was celebrating its 20th year and wanted something spectacular.
We created one painting inside the museum and the other was a 5x2 meter wall that blocked the road infront of the gallery. There we painted this mural infront of live audience for 4 hours.

Foam - On a mountain
GÓMS at it again, and this time the exhibition is "On a mountain"
located in "Deiglan" Akureyri, Iceland.
Collaboration between Georg Óskar (GÓMS), Margeir Dire (GÓMS), Freyja Reynisdóttir and Aðalheiður Sigríður Eysteinsdóttir.

GÓMS on HEAD Snowboards
In 2012 we GÓMS had the pleasure of designing two snowboards for HEAD.
The boards have now been manufactured and will be available in the fall 2013.
The snowboards are of each kind, one The evil kers and the other Ignition.
The design was first exhibited at the Ispo in Munich 2013 where HEAD snowboards also won the golden awards for one of their boards called Instinct DCT, wich has a protective frame and the same electronical system as in our boards. That system is called KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System), a system adapted straight from Formula 1.
The designs are parts from two big canvases we (GÓMS) painted in 2008 and then redesigned in a collaboration with the Red Bull Creative for HEAD snowboards.
